Despite the large gap between the two sides in the league last season. The match at Anfield ended in a 2-2 draw, where United put in one of their better performances. Liverpool’s last home win versus United was the famous 7-0 thrashing back in March 2023. United’s last league win away at Anfield came in a 1-0 win in January 2016 when Louis Van Gaal was still manager.
